All the time! There are two ways to deal with that:

1. Enjoy the freedom of knowing that nobody is listening and let yourself go!

2. Get out and read/comment on other blogs. Eventually, people will start coming to yours. (That's why I'm here. I was re-reading comments on my blog and realized that you commented on mine and I hadn't stopped by to say "hello")

On the other hand, just cuz it's quiet doesn't mean nobdy is listening.
